Hooved Animal Rescue of Thurston County (HAROTC) is a 501c3 tax exempt organization offering a foster home network for the rehabilitation and care of hooved animals that have bee impounded by local law enforcement in abuse and neglect cases, pending prosecution. We do not pick and choose animals that come into our care. We receive animals that are in various states of neglect and abuse, both mentally and physically. When we feel they have recovered enough to be put into permanent homes, they are available for adoption. They may still have behavioral and/or long term physical issues that may limit their future potential.Name: Dancer

He gets along well with other horses but can be a little bossy at times. He is easy to catch, accepts new things, has a quiet disposition and is easy to handle.Training: Dancer has a bad swayback and cannot be ridden. However, he might be able to be trained to pull a cart. He does pretty well on his ground work but could use more work on his longeing.Quirks or Bad Behavior: Dancer can be a little bossy around other horses.Health Issues: Dancer has a beautiful coat, good feet and no health problems.Owner/Rider Experience Level: A beginner could handle Dancer easily.Best suited for: Dancer would make a good pasture pet or a companion for another horse.
